It is a formal letter, usually written by a company or organization’s HR department, in order to notify a candidate about the acceptance of his/her internship application.

I am writing his letter in response to your application for the internship post in our company. Following a thorough assessment, which included a formal interview that we had with you last week, I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected to join as an intern.

Your joining date will be May 1. According to the terms of the contract and the company’s policy related to internees, you are required to work for a minimum of six weeks, after which your performance will be evaluated by your supervisor – Mr. Tim May.

If you choose to accept the offer, you will need to attach a copy of all your academic certificates with this letter and get back to us within two weeks. Any delay will result in this offer being considered null and void.

We have further attached the terms of employment with his letter for your convenience. For any queries, you can contact the HR office during regular business hours. We will be glad to assist you and clarify all your concerns.
